The event, which takes place in Italy for the first time, is sponsored and hosted by the City of Cornaredo (Milano) and organized by ASKA (Association for the Study of Ancient Kyudo) of Milano.

Among the partecipants, that come from seven different European countries, will be given an award:

- the team that will rank first with the highest score in the shooting competition will be awarded a European Kyudo Federation Cup along with a cup offered by Milano Sport.

- the single partecipant who will rank first with the highest score in the shooting competition will be awarded with a cupo offered by the City of Cornaredo.

A special prize for the best shooting style and form will be also offered by ASKA (Association for the study of ancient Kyudo).

Sponsors for the event are Milano Sport, which organizes every year a Kyudo course for beginners at the gymn of the Lido of Milano, and ChiaraNet, which takes care of the communication of the event.
